About this course

This course is for Skillhancer Labs interns, and anyone else who sells websites, apps and software without writing code. It explains how the web works, what our developers actually build, what makes a project take longer or cost more, and how to read a technical proposal so you can explain it to a client with confidence.

You won't learn to code. You will learn enough to ask better questions on discovery calls, understand what the developers tell you, spot when a request is bigger than it sounds, and avoid promising anything you can't stand behind.

Each lesson ends with an exercise. The final project has you scope a website project from discovery call notes, which our staff review. It pairs well with the course "Selling tech services: the 15-day intern training".
