How we work
Four steps from first call to handover
Every project follows the same path, so you always know what happens next, what it costs and what you will receive.
The process
How a project runs
Step 1: Call
A scoping call about the business, who the project is for, what it needs to do and what can wait. Bring examples of things you like.
You get: Notes on what we heard, so you can correct anything before the proposal.
Step 2: Proposal
A written proposal with the scope, a fixed price, the timeline and what we need from you. Nothing starts until you accept it.
You get: A fixed price and a list of what is in and out of scope.
Step 3: Build
Our developers build in stages. Every week you get an update with what was done, what is next and anything we need you to decide.
You get: A weekly update and a preview link you can click through.
Step 4: Launch
We launch on your accounts, check everything works in the real world, then walk you through running it yourself.
You get: The live project, your logins and a handover call.
At handover
What you receive
- The live website, app or tool, running on accounts in your name
- Admin logins, transferred to you and your team
- The source code, in a repository you control
- Domain, hosting and third-party services listed with who pays for what
- A written guide for everyday changes
- A handover call to go through it together
- A list of what was built and ideas left for later
Written down before we start
Ownership, support after launch and how changes to the scope are priced are all set out in your proposal. You see them before you agree to anything.
Weekly, not whenever
Updates arrive every week of the build, including the weeks where the news is that something needs a decision from you.
